The Dollhouse: Issue 1: Finally!

About 2 years ago I ran an article about the Dollfie hobby here on the site, I really didn't think a ton of it at the time, figured that maybe with any luck one day I might get my hands on one of the dolls to add to my Anime collectibles. When I went back and checked the stats for the site a few months later I was shocked at the volume of hits on that single article. So I did more research and found out how deep this hobby runs, since then my girlfriend and roomates have gotten interested in making clothes for the dolls, so I decided to start running a feature article for the hobby every other week.

Talking with other folks who have gotten into the Dollfie hobby there is definately a lot to learn, there are so many varieties of doll types, heads, eyes, wigs, hands, and not least bodies, it can get pretty boggling also since the entry point can easily be in the $600 range, you definately want to have a good idea of what you are looking for going in.

So for this first installment I have a series of links and articles for people looking to get started on the hobby, I am going to be focusing mostly on the Dollfie Dream line of dolls for this blog, simply because they are the most Anime like and thats where my interests fall, but many of the links will also be useful for those folks that are interested in the other types of dolls that Volks produces.
